Upmarket park homes firm Wessex stunned crowds this weekend when they unveiled their latest ‘super-lodge’ at a show for luxury brands.
The Elite luxury lodge is made from Grade A cedar wood and features brass chandeliers and high quality sofas.
It was on display alongside corporate jets, powerboats and luxury yachts at The Elite show, Rizon Jet, Biggin Hill Airport, on May 8th and 9th.
Designed exclusively for the Waterside Group’s prestigious Osmington Park development in Dorset, the Elite luxury lodge is a perfect example of Wessex quality, craftsmanship, style, panache and bespoke possibilities.
The Elite lodge is built to BS 3632,the residential standard. Higher insulation standards, a 10-year Gold Shield structural warranty and a pitched tiled roof guaranteed for 40 years.
A spokesman said: ‘The lodge is clad in beautiful A Grade Cedar wood, two roof dormers, either side of an extended central roof dormer, frame a feature double front door with glazed panels to either side.
‘Two sets of bi-fold doors to each side of the front of the lodge and a third to the back allow natural light to flood in, and feature lighting in the bold extended soffit perfectly finishes off the look. Positively oozing style, this lodge has strong, striking presence, perfect for the stunning location that it has been designed for.
‘The spacious accommodation within comprises of an entrance lobby, large living space with lounge, dining and kitchen areas, an opulent master bedroom with large walk-in dressing room and an indulgent en-suite Jacuzzi Wellness Room, second double bedroom and a bathroom.
‘On entering the lobby you’re met by a striking large Rococo style full-length mirror and elegant, hand carved Sweetpea & Willow console table. Double doors with frosted glass panels then lead you through into the living space.
‘The first thing you notice here is the space and light of the living area which is accentuated by high, light panelled ceilings (which continue throughout the lodge) with feature alcoves and bi-fold doors to the lounge and dining areas.
‘Beautiful antique brass chandeliers hang from the ceiling giving an elegant and opulent feel and there are two large sumptuous sofas, an armchair and footstall to sink into. These are placed around the feature fireplace where some of the more hi-tech features of the lodge can be found.
‘The fire utilizes the latest High Definition TV technology to create flames and sparks for a virtual fireplace experience like no other and there is even the audio element of crackling logs! Over the fireplace there is a large mirror… that is also a TV! Once switched on the mirror displays a full HD 1080p picture, and when off, it seamlessly transforms into a mirror. But it doesn’t stop there, to the right of the fireplace the controls for a fully integrated FM / DAB Ceiling Speaker System complete with Wireless Bluetooth Receiver can be found providing high quality audio throughout the lodge.
‘Then to the dining area where a beautiful Sweetpea & William, hand carved, wood and metal dining suite provide a perfect blend of elegance and contemporary style. Lit up by one of the beautiful antique brass chandeliers, you can just imagine whiling away the hours sharing the pleasures of good food and wine with friends and family.

‘The second bedroom with its beautiful interior design has practical twin Zip & Link beds, wall-mounted headboards, beautiful Bentley Designs furniture and a built in wardrobe with mirrored sliding doors.
‘So not to be left out on the luxury front, the bathroom opposite offers something more than a little bit special! A Jacuzzi bath, 19” waterproof TV, designer shower head over the bath and feature lighting in the step up to bath all come together to create a truly indulgent pamper experience. Fully tiled in Porcelnosa wall and floor tiles, a stylish countertop basin on a Field & Johnson vanity unit and WC finish the room.
