The stars of Channel 4 comedy The Inbetweeners are leaving today on a ‘rude road trip’ for Comic Relief, visiting the UK’s most naughtily-named places.
Simon Bird (Will), James Buckley (Jay), Blake Harrison (Neil) and Joe Thomas (Simon) are aiming to take in 50 lewdly-named locations in 50 hours before jetting off to Crete to start filming The Inbetweeners Movie.
Stops on the itinerary include Crabs Hill in Hampshire, Old Sodom Lane in Wiltshire, Tinkerbush Lane in Oxfordshire and Mudchute in London.
The trip is being filmed as part of Red Nose Day and will be broadcast on Friday 18 March.
Simon told The Sun: “We’ll undoubtedly find some characters driving down Purves Road. And Joe will fit right in when we reach Bell End.”
The boys are encouraging fans of the show to join them by staging their own rude road trips.
James said: “We’re never going to make it round all of the rude places in Britain so we want people to get involved too and send in pictures of themselves by naughty signposts.
“Send them to ruderoadtrip@comicrelief.com.”
Their yellow Fiat leaves from Bush lane in London at noon today before heading around the west of England and the Midlands.
Fans can keep up with the foursome via Facebook and Twitter and are encouraged to make a donation to Comic Relief.
