Hundreds of people have paid tribute to a popular teenager who was found hanged from a tree.
Horrified family members found pretty Jusdine Webb, 17, in woodland near a golf course.
Police say she was discovered hanged from a tree and all indications are that she took her own life.
They say the death is not being treated as suspicious and the death will now be investigated by a coroner.
More than 700 friends and family have joined a tribute site dedicated to Jusdine, of Plymouth, Devon.
One friend, Gemma Gorman wrote: ”Miss you so much, wish I could see you one last time! Why didn’t you come to me?
”You always knew my door was open for you. You meant the world to me and mum and you know you did.”
Another, Jade Doidge added: ”I really cannot believe this has happened, you was such a laugh and a lovely girl. You will be truly missed.”
Janet Parrott said: ”RIP Jusdine, condolences to your family and friends. You were a lovely young lady, and will be greatly missed by all at college x x x.”
A statement from Jusdine’s family said: ”Such a devastating shock and so unexpected because Jusdine was such a lovely, happy, outgoing person with a great future ahead.
”Jusdine will never be forgotten by all of her family. She has left such a big hole in her dad’s heart.
”Jusdine had so many friends who loved her. She was very popular and would do anything for anyone. Life will never be the same without her. We all miss her so so much.”
A spokesman for Jusdine’s former school, Ivybridge Community College, said she was a clever and well liked girl.
He said: ”She achieved nine GCSEs and was a popular and well-liked member of our community. ”Our thoughts at present are with her family and friends. The college wishes to offer its deepest condolences for their tragic loss.”
A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said she was discovered hanging from a tree and the death was not being treated as suspicious.
