The 2010 Paris Motor Show opened its doors yesterday with stunning supercar debuts from the likes of Lamborghini, Ferrari, Jaguar and Lotus.
Among the multi-million pound showcase was the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento – a supercar concept which the Italian company says is capable of accelerating from 0-100km/h in just 2.5 seconds.
Lotus shocked visitors by showing off FIVE new models in Paris as it looks to shed its image as a niche company and go more mainstream, targeting Ferrari, Porsche and Aston Martin with a series of high-performance cars for the well-healed.
Fresh from smashing the world record to become the world’s fastest car, the 268mph Bugatti Veyron SuperSport was also on show.
But it was Jaguar which stole the show, taking the wraps of its C-X75 concept – an environmentally friendly supercar the British company describes as “a commemoration of 75 years of Jaguar heritage, and a glimpse at the design cues and technology that will characterise our cars in the future.”
Here’s a selection of the sexiest supercars at the 2010 Paris Motor Show:
