A student has been forced to cut his hair after adoring females kept approaching him thinking he was pop hearthrob Harry Styles.
Paul Gallacher, 18, is constantly stopped by giddy schoolgirls – and their mothers – and asked for photos and autographs.
Even Scottish comedian Kevin Bridges couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw the teenager in a pub – and started a chant about him.

Paul, from Glasgow, went over to Kevin after Celtic’s Champions League clash with Juventus earlier this month.
He said: “He was trying to keep it on the ‘down low’ but loads of people were going up to him and asking for photos so I thought I would too.
“He started singing ‘Harry, Harry Styles’ and then the whole pub started singing it. It was really embarrassing.”
The teenager had his curly brown locks trimmed last Wednesday in a bid to avoid confusion as the band hit Glasgow for two sell-out gigs – but is still a dead ringer for the One Direction pop sensation.
He added: “It started as soon as One Direction became famous. Pretty much every day I have schoolkids pointing and asking me if I’m him.
“It’s not just girls. I also get their mums asking me for photographs.
“I was watching a street performer in Glasgow recently and a woman in her 40s kept looking over at me.
“She was shaking her head and I could hear her saying ‘it can’t be him’. Then she came over and asked me for a photo.”
“The most embarrassing moment was when I met Kevin Bridges in a Glasgow pub after the Celtic Juventus game a couple of weeks ago.
“He started singing ‘It’s Harry Styles, Harry Harry Styles’, then the everyone else joined in.”
Despite being frustrated by his identity crisis, Paul said he wanted to go and see One Direction at the SECC.
The construction management student, from Bishopbriggs, East Dunbartonshire, said: “I wouldn’t have minded going but tickets are like gold dust now.
“I’m not mad about One Direction but I do like some of the singles, they’re very catchy.”
