These shocking CCTV images capture the moment two cruel teenagers robbed an 89-year-old man at a cash point on Christmas Day.
The pair of callous crooks were not in the Christmas spirit as they left the elderly pensioner emptied-handed on the most giving day of the year.
The yobs waited for the mobility scooter-riding pensioner to finish withdrawing money from the ATM before robbing him of his cash.
Detectives are urging witnesses to come forward after the pair snatched the cash and scarpered on push bikes at around 9.30am in the Greenwood Avenue area of Hull, East Yorks.
A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “We are appealing for witnesses and information after a man was robbed outside a Hull supermarket on Christmas Day.
“The 89-year-old man had taken a number of notes out of a cash machine outside Sainsbury’s on Greenwood Avenue around 9.30am when he was approached by two male youths on bikes.
“They grabbed the money from him before riding off along 26th Avenue.
“We recognise the available CCTV images are not high definition, but we are hoping someone who may know or saw the pair will be able to help us identify them.
“The man, who was on a mobility scooter, wasn’t hurt during the incident.”
One of the youths was wearing dark blue clothing and riding a distinctive lime green mountain bike.
The other was wearing a khaki green coat and blue jogging bottoms and riding a silver mountain bike.
Both were white and in their late teens, police say.
Anyone who witnessed the incident are urged to contact police on 101, quoting log number 127 of 25/12/17.
