A sci-fi nut has spent more than 3,500 hours building a complete replica – of a bar from STAR WARS.
Super nerd Luke Kaye, who runs a fancy dress shop called Skywalkers, spent ten hours a day for over a year recreating the iconic Mos Eisley Cantina from the original 1977 film.
The 46-year-old has created 22 life-sized characters from George Lucas’ epic fantasy, using mannequins, masks and buckets of latex.

He said: “Some days I haven’t been sleeping, I have just been making. It has probably been 10 hours a day and it has taken up all my weekends.
“I had this crazy idea in my head just to add to my collection. Once I get these ideas I have to see them through.”
In the 1976 film, Luke Skywalker and Obi Wan Kenobi visit the bar – dubbed a “wretched hive of scum and villainy”.
Luke, from Swindon, Wilts., filled his bar with a collection of some of the worst characters from the series.
His group of scoundrels and villains includes two bounty hunters, a sex-pest space rat and a motley crew of alien thugs.

Luke said: “This is the iconic scene of Star Wars. Everybody is having a drink of blue milk.
“It was a challenge. I saw a scene like this last year when I went to America to the biggest Star Wars convention.
“I had to queue for ages to get a photo taken with their Cantina scene and it only had three characters.
“I said, ‘I can do so much better than that.’ So I did.”
The display includes The Cantina Band, and characters including Greedo, Zuckuss, two Snaggletooths, a bar keeper, the spy, Hammerhead, Twilek, Ponda Baba, Doctor Alzban, Squidhead and Salacious B Crumb.
Luke, a fan of Star Wars since he was 11, has built up an impressive Star Wars collection valued at well over #1m.
