A patient who underwent surgery was left in agony – after doctors allegedly left a pair of SCISSORS in between his organs.
Sireekapu Chalapathi, 45, has his appendix and parts of his intestines removed but he woke up in agony which tormented him for three weeks.
He went back to hospital and an x-ray revealed he a huge pair of surgical scissors had been left inside his body, next to his stomach.
Daily wage labourer Mr Chalapathi had another operation but is in a critical condition, in hospital in Nellore in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

Government General Hospital superintendent Dr Sri Hari said: “I have ordered an internal inquiry. I will take necessary action against those responsible for the lapse.”
Mr Chalapathi had his first operation on October 3, and returned to have the scissors removed on October 27.
A hospital source said: “The patient is out of danger and is recovering at home.”
The accused doctor did not respond to requests for comment.
