Labrador caught red-pawed in Andrex advert style loo roll mishap

A mischievous Labrador has been caught red-pawed after its owner walked in on his pet pooch covered in loo roll – just like the Andrex advert.

Dog owner David O’Reilly, 28, came home from work to find his guilty pup Bella attached to a huge trail of toilet roll which led from his bathroom.

Hilarious video footage captures David following the mysterious chains of the paper draping down his staircase before turning the camera on two-year-old Bella looking a little sheepish.

The adorable Lab loves causing trouble in David’s home in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, and has also been caught hiding under a duvet after tearing up his tissues.

David, an IT manager, said: “I was laughing so hard that no sound came out – I couldn’t even laugh properly.

“When I first came in she was sitting in her bed and rolling around in the toilet roll.

“We were getting a new bathroom fitted and the house was a bit of a mess, no door had been fitted.

“I didn’t think she’d go for the toilet roll but I came back from work and saw all the loo roll up the stairs and thought I’d take a video to catch her.”

David has owned his beloved Bella since she was a tiny three-month-old pup.

He added: “She can be a bit naughty and run around the house – when you’re trying to get dressed to go out in the cold she would steal your gloves.

“She’s naughty but wouldn’t be without her, she’s a great dog and very special.”
