The iconic Special K girl in a red dress finally broke her silence after 30 years on our screens in a hilarious spoof advert launched today.
Last week Aldi ran a series of cheeky commercials taking the mickey out of Special K and urging customers to ditch brand names for their own low-cost version of the cereal.
The hilarious Aldi ad features a chubby actor wearing a tight red dress – made famous by the Special K girl – while munching on a bowl of the supermarket’s own low-fat cereal.

The 26-second ad also shows a box of Kellogg’s Special K with the price £4.15 next to a box of Aldi’s own £1.79 box of Benefit.
In response to the ad, Kellogg’s hit back with an almost identical internet commercial featuring the same chubby Aldi actor alongside the famous Special K girl – played by actress Lisa Ronaghan, 27, from Northampton.
The 43-second ad opens with actor David O’Riordan wearing the same red dress while munching on a sausage butty.
While pointing at both cereals on the table he says: “This is not a bad cereal, this is not a bad cereal either.

“But let’s be honest what we really want to eat is sausage butty.”
At that moment the Special K girl sarcastically asks him: “Diet’s going well David?
“I do wish you’d stop wearing my clothes, you’re stretching them.”
The ad was launched on the internet yesterday and is expected to hit the TV screens later this year.
Kellogg’s spokeswoman Louise Thompson Davies said: “The Aldi low fat cereal ad epitomizes the whole concept of copycat own brand versions of branded products – in a very clever way.
“They say imitation is the highest form of flattery and our internet spoof is a light hearted way to bring our new recipe to life and highlight the point of difference against these products and show Special K has a sense of humour.
“It’s also an exciting first for the brand as our famous Special K girl finally gets a voice after all these years.”
