The world’s hottest chocolate bar has hit the market – a tongue-bashing treat infused with the heat of 2,500 jalapeno peppers.
Called ”Instant Regret Chocolate Bar” the snack contains pure chilli extract measuring 6.4million Scoville units – three times hotter than police-issue pepper spray.
Creators Firebox.com have put a warning label on the milk chocolate bar which states: “DO NOT Give to unsuspecting people without warning, even if you don’t like them.”

The £6.99 chocolate bar is not for the faint-hearted – one chilli-lover who ate a square described it as being “like the fire from a thousand suns burning your face off.”
A spokesman for the company said: “The Instant Regret “hot” chocolate is not for the faint of heart – it’s not even really for fun. Strictly speaking, it’s probably not chocolate at all.
“So just to confirm for anyone in the remotest of doubt – our Instant Regret Chocolate really is extraordinarily hot.
“The factory didn’t really want to make it. It’s fair to say that it turned out quite a bit hotter than we thought.”
Claire McCann, 20, gave the ultra-hot chocolate a go, and instantly regretted it.
She said: “It was so hot – I had to run outside to cool down.
“I thought water would help but it really didn’t.
“I wouldn’t give it to my worst enemy. It was too hot, but I’m very proud of myself for trying it.”
