These hilarious videos show a night out with a difference for a 22-year-old – after a bird which landed on his head joined him for the journey.
Liam Fairclough was riding his bike to meet his friends for a night out on Sunday 23 September when he felt something above his cap.
Using his video camera, Liam discovered a grey bird with distinctive yellow and white markings had joined him on his adventures and he decided to keep him for the rest of the night.
Liam then live-posted his night’s antics on a Twitter thread.
The posts have since gone viral and had over one million views in just two days.
Liam said: “I was just on my bike on the way to meet my mates.
“I felt something on the top of my head and used my camera to see it was a bird.
“I couldn’t believe it.”
Liam allowed his new friend – who he nicknamed ‘George’ – to travel with him on his handlebars and even took him into a takeaway in another funny video.
The call-centre worker, from Liverpool, Merseyside, added: “At one point he flew down from the handlebars to the floor but someone picked him back up and helped him back on top of my hat.
“He ended up staying with us for two or three hours in the end, we kept him with us for the rest of the night.”
The bird finally decided to fly away as the night came to an end.
