This is the heartwarming moment a dog is reunited with her owner THREE YEARS after being stolen.
Libby, a six year old Jack Russell Terrier, was snatched from a park in Cork, Ireland, in 2013.
Her owner thought he’d never see her again – until she was found over 400 miles away wandering down a road in Canada Fields, Herts., three weeks ago.
She was taken to a nearby vets, who found she was chipped and finally managed to trace Libby back to her rightful owners.

Janice Linsell, practice manager of the Highfield Veterinary Surgery in Cheshunt, Herts., said: “I tried a couple of companies in England but the chip wasn’t registered with them, so I tried one in Ireland and she was registered with them.
“I didn’t expect to find her owners, but I called the number and they picked up, they were ecstatic, so pleased that they are getting her back in time for Christmas.
“If it wasn’t for us finding the chip, she would have been rehoused and wouldn’t have found her way back home.”
Vets filmed the moment Libby was reunited with he owners Jo Healy after he travelled from Ballincollig, County Cork, to finally see her again.
In the adorable footage, she can be seen running into the room and jumping up at Jo, clearly recognising who he is.
Jo said: “I’m overwhelmed to be honest, I’m absolutely over the moon. I never ever hoped to see her again, she was in my mind but we didn’t think we’d get her back.
“My mum was out walking her in the park three years ago and she was snatched.
“We will probably get back home on Wednesday lunchtime but it doesn’t matter, it’s worth it to get Libby back.”

It is believed Libby was brought over to England shortly after she was stolen and despite her being in need of a good wash, she was completely unharmed.
Jo added: “At first I Thought it was one of those apps, that it was a joke.
“Before this we hadn’t had a call on the landline for five years.
“The broadband guy only came three months ago and fixed it by mistake. It’s like fate.”
