This is the shocking moment funnyman Freddie Starr swings a punch at members of the press before ramming a reporter’s car with his £50,000 Audi in a bizarre meltdown outside his home.
The fuming comic, 69, lost his temper and attacked members of the media outside his mansion in Studley, Warks., before threatening to have them all “wiped out”.
A dishevelled looking Starr appeared to be slurring his words as he launched his torrent of abuse at journalists and photographers at around 1pm yesterday afternoon.
Shocking pictures taken at the scene show the comic drawing back a clenched fist and preparing to strike a reporter – before ramming his Audi sports car into his Peugeot 106.
Other photos show the comic’s face curled into an angry sneer before Starr chases photographers down a country lane by his home.
Starr then returned to his car and proceeded to rant for several minutes and threaten violence against the media.
In a foul-mouthed outburst Starr raged: “I’m going to come back with a baseball bat.
“You’re scum you c*nts.
“I’m gonna go in there and make a phone-call for some lads to come down here and f*cking wipe you out.”
Shockingly, one of Starr’s children was sat in the passenger seat of his car throughout the violent episode.
The drama unfolded after Starr emerged from the gates of his five-bedroomed home and pulled up alongside press vehicles.
He asked them: “What the f*ck do you want? “I spoke to police yesterday and they said they weren’t interested in speaking to me.
“Why don’t you f*ck off?”
The star, who looked unshaven, then drove off before reappearing minutes later before his dramatic breakdown ensued.
Starr’s hostility towards the press is a marked contrast to his attitude on Friday, when he stood at the front gate of his home and pledged to speak to police in connection with allegations he molested a 14-year-old girl in Jimmy Saville’s BBC dressing room.
But yesterday, he had metal screens fitted to his front gates so that his home could not be seen.
