Ego Soleil, an acclaimed international fashion house with headquarters in New York, has today announced its alliance with the distinguished London-based designer, Samantha Warren, for the creation of a custom gift as part of its exhilarating Spring Summer 2017 collection.
Using luxurious handcrafted materials, the Samantha Warren London brand can be found in stores in the prestigious 263-year-old British Museum and the more recent Fashion and Textile Museum founded in 2003. Both of these major attractions are situated in the heart of London.
Samantha Warren’s special commission for Ego Soleil was crafted with the fashion label’s 2017 collection mood board in mind, which incorporated themes such as; texture, confidence, dreams, architecture, modernity, femininity and masculinity. The London print designer completed an Art Foundation from one of the world’s most reputable arts institutions, Camberwell College of Arts. Samantha went on to earn a First Class Honors Degree in Printed Textiles from Middlesex University, renowned for its experimental and progressive approach to art and design education.
“The Collaboration with Ego Soleil called for a bespoke design that would appeal to its luxury market,” explained, Samantha Warren. “My response to the brief was to design a modern, architectural and ethereal pattern for Ego Soleil’s SS17 range. As a London designer, it’s been great to work with an exciting American brand on the launch of its new collection.”
“Samantha Warren’s genius was evident from the start. There has been a growing fascination with London fashion within Ego Soleil. Photini Konnarides, part of our design team, was instrumental in making this collaboration successful,” observed, Del Addison, Founder, Ego Soleil. “We will continue to collaborate with talented designers like Samantha and also enjoy many more innovations from the vibrant city of London well into the future.”
