A drink driver crashed his car while three times the limit – and dressed as Father Christmas, a court heard.
Joshua Lemarquand, 23, got behind the wheel of his Audi on December 24 after a staff party – still wearing a Santa suit.
He crashed the car on the way home and was seen staggering around in the early hours of the morning.
Lemarquand, a barman of Plymouth, Devon, had 105 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath – exactly three times the legal limit.
He admitted drink-driving and was disqualified from driving for 24 months at Plymouth Magistrates Court.
Lemarquand was also given a 12-month community order with 80 hours of unpaid work, told to pay £50 costs and a £60 victim surcharge.
Representing himself, he said: “There is nothing else I can say really.”
