Fragile Cher, 17, broke down in tears during her showdown with Paije Richardson last Sunday evening.
The rapping teenager was saved by Louis Walsh after she scraped through with a rendition of Shakespeare Sister’s ‘Stay’.
Cher’s dad Darren Lloyd, 43, today revealed the whole family knew she would be in the bottom two after it was leaked on Twitter.
The dad-of-four, from Malvern, Worcs., said he told Cher before she performed in the live show.
He said: ”We were tipped off in the morning. It was leaked on Twitter. We were hoping it was lies but unfortunately it was not.
”I called Cher and told her. She was upset but was determined not to let it affect her performance.
”It happened the week before as well, with Aiden.
”Paije is a lovely, lovely man. He said that Cher would win and he was a nice bloke, even after he was sent home.
”It’s just a shame that there’s always two in the bottom.”
The Tweets correctly predicted Cher and Paije would be in the bottom two.
The week before Aiden Grinshaw told host Dermot O’Leary that he was prepared for his exit, having been alerted to a leak on Twitter which also placed him in the bottom two.
It is unclear how the voting results are leaked to members of the public before they are published on Twitter.
An X Factor spokesman said: ”People make lots of unfounded predictions on the internet about the order of the contestants based on various popularity polls. There is not a leak.”
Cher is expected to sing two songs on Saturday night in a desperate bid to regain popularity with the public.
