An evil bodybuilder who tried to rape a woman before strangling her and pouring BLEACH over her head after taking Viagra to cure his impotence has been jailed.
Thomas Morris tricked his way into the home of a married woman by telling her he had seen an intruder in her garden.
But the 20-year-old suddenly overpowered his victim by putting a damp cloth over her face.
The woman woke up two hours later to find her clothes had been ripped and a corrosive liquid, believed to be bleach, had been poured on her body leaving her with burns.
A court heard the attack was the second assault Morris had carried out on September 5 last year.
Hours earlier, Morris took another woman to Chasewater Country Park in Staffordshire and asked her “Does anyone know you’re here?”
He then put a gloved hand over her mouth and told her “don’t scream” before the woman managed to push him off.
The court heard he eventually took her back to Walsall, West Mids., but she was shaken and upset.
Morris, of Cannock, Staffs., admitted two charges of assault with intent to commit a sexual offence as well as inflicting grievous bodily harm, assault causing actual bodily harm and assault by beating.
He was jailed for five years and eight months at Stafford Crown Court on Wednesday.
He was also ordered to register as a sex offender indefinitely.
Judge Michael Elsom said Morris had intended to rape both women.
He told him: “You tried to persuade others you were a paragon of innocence and virtue.
“Nothing could be further from the truth.
“You had taken Viagra. The only reason you had taken it was to enhance your sexual performance.”
The court heard Morris was pumped up on steroids, the amphetamine M Cat and Viagra when he carried out the two brutal attacks.
Prosecutor Stephen Bailey said Morris tried to claim the second woman had been attacked in her garden and he had tried to resuscitate her.
Mr Bailey added: “It has not been possible to establish what was on that cloth.”
Paul Lamb, defending, said: “His use of steroids made him impotent.
“He tried the drug Viagra but because of the use of the steroids it had little effect.”
