Rihanna celebrated her 23rd birthday with an extravagant party in Beverley Hills over the weekend.
The pop star wore a cutaway peach dress with a flared purple skirt as she welcomed guests including Jay-Z, Beyonce and Cee Lo Green to the private address.
The venue was decked out with elaborate ice sculptures and guests nibbled on red velvet cupcakes printed with the letter ‘R’ and the Barbadian flag.
There was also a huge tower of pick’n’mix candy for peckish partygoers to dip in to.
Rihanna had barely been able to contain her excitement earlier in the evening, tweeting: “Go grawl, its ya birthday, ITS PARTY TIME! All my best friends are here!!! And my BRO! ! Wish u could see how SICK this s*** is!!!”
According to People magazine, other guests included actors Ryan Phillippe and Zac Efron, who the birthday girl greeted with huge hugs.
Rappers Snoop Dogg and Warren g also put in an appearance around 1am, when they “proceeded to dance and sing along to some old school hip hop songs while guests cheered them on.”
R’n’B legend Mary J Blige posed for photos with Jay-Z and “squealed with excitement” when she spotted P Diddy arrive.
RiRi took to the dancefloor and larked about playing Wii with friends.
Yesterday a judge lifted the restraining order on her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, who was convicted of attacking her.
It was replaced by a level on order, meaning the pair can have contact as long as he does not attack or harass her.
