Street artist Banksy has confirmed he is behind a spy themed piece of artwork after months of speculation.
The renowned artist admitted on his website that he was responsible for creating the “spybooth” near GCHQ headquarters in Cheltenham, Glos.
Buried in the frequently asked questions section of his website is the question: “Did you paint the spies in Cheltenham?”
The artist replied with a simple “yes”.

The piece features three 1950s-style spies on the side of her £300,000 three-bed semi detached home, next to a phone box.
It was first discovered on April 13, but it was only confirmed as a genuine Banksy on Tuesday.
