A football-mad gran has proved she is the Special One’s number one fan after getting a tattoo saying ‘Ms Jose Mourinho’ – on her CHEST.
Obsessed Viv Bodycote, 59, has covered her home with pictures of the Manchester United manager and has even named her pet tortoises after Mourinho and his wife.
The married gran-of-two scours the internet for the latest news about him and buys every newspaper and magazine he is in.
Now Viv has celebrated her love for the Portuguese manager by getting a tattoo emblazoned across her chest which declares she is ‘Ms Jose Mourinho’.
She says she opted against having ‘Mrs’ and went for ‘Ms’ instead – because she didn’t want to be disrespectful to his real wife Matilde.
The tattoo is Viv’s third in tribute to Jose as she already has one on her arm of Portuguese flag with the words ‘The Special One’ and the initials ‘JM’ on her wrist.
Viv, who lives with long-suffering husband Tony, 76, in Earl Shilton, Leics., said she decided to get the latest inking after Mourinho was banned by the FA for abusing a referee.
She added: “When he got that fine and had to sit in the stands I was really unhappy about that.
“So I got myself another tattoo. It says ‘Ms Jose Mourinho’ and it’s across my chest.
“Everyone thinks it’s amazing.
“I’m a massive, massive fan of Jose but I like the whole family. He’s got a wife and it didn’t seem right to have ‘Mrs’ on my tattoo.
“It would be crossing the line.
“He went ranting at the ref but that’s what I love about him.
“Some people are saying he should get the sack but I think he’s amazing.
“The media are always making out he’s doing something he shouldn’t but the more bad press he gets the more determined I am to get more tattoos.”Mum-of-two Viv says she spends all day thinking about the Special One and wears a ‘Mrs Mourinho’ t-shirt all the time.
When he’s on TV she refuses to leave the house or take a phone call and has even named her pet tortoises Jose and Tami – which Mourinho’s wife Matilde is known as.
The gran has supported Chelsea since the age of 15 and fell for the manager when he first took charge in 2004.
She was delighted when he returned in 2013 and got her first wrist tattoo around 18 months ago.
But Viv burst into tears when Mourinho was sacked after his second spell at Stamford Bridge in December 2015 and was so upset that she cancelled Christmas.
She switched allegiance to Manchester United when he took charge there in the summer and had her second tattoo in celebration.
Viv is now saving up to have her entire home decorated with special Mourinho wallpaper.
She added: “It’s more of an obsession than being a fan.
“I won’t go out If he’s on TV. I watch every single game and every interview. It occupies quite a lot of my life.
“It has become a real addiction, he has become an addiction.
“I like everything about him. I love his personality and I think he is absolutely hilarious.
“I think he’s the best manager in the world.
“I love the hype that he brings to the game, especially if he clashes with other managers.
“He brings to much entertainment to the game but I hate it when other managers criticise him.
“I can’t get enough of him.”
Viv has never been able to meet her hero but is planning to buy a Manchester United sleeping bag to camp out at Old Trafford in the near future.
She also insists husband Tony, a retired labourer, isn’t bothered by her infatuation.
Viv said: “He likes Jose as well.
“We find that we have the same interest. If there is a match on we’ll both say things like ‘Oh look what Jose is doing now’.
“If I met him – wow I could only dream of that – it would be a dream come true.
“I’d be able to make conversation but I would be absolutely amazed by it all.
“I think about him 24/7. I have his picture by my bed.
“We’ve all got something in life that take up our time and this is what I do.”
Husband Tony added: “Whatever makes Viv happy I’m up for it. I think Jose’s great.
“We’re both big fans.”
