Virgin Atlantic and Richard Branson are inadvertently supporting a British Airways startup with their new #GetOutOfOffice advertising campaign.
The Virgin campaign, which encourages people to #GetOutOfOffice with a quirky video, is undoubtedly taking its inspiration from OutOfOffice.com, the tailor-made travel company launched earlier this year after its founder and former ITV News journalist Darren Burn secured investment through a competition in British Airways’ Business Life magazine.
Commenting on the campaign, OutOfOffice.com founder Darren Burn said: “It’s great that Virgin Atlantic and Richard Branson are getting their inspiration from us! We love that they are jumping on the bandwagon and getting behind our idea to spend as much time as possible Out Of Office.
“Here at OutOfOffice.com we’re big believers in escaping and using all your annual leave and we’re experts at helping people set their OOO and #GetOutOfOffice on a new adventure.”
OutOfOffice.com has been creating incredible tailor-made travel experiences to get people away from their desk since its launch in January this year in which time it’s attracted unprecedented levels of business.
The company, which specialises in creating LGBT friendly travel experiences too, is the first to use imagery of gay and lesbian couples in equal measure to their straight counterparts.
Darren added: “It’s definitely time to #GetOutOfOffice and #GoWithOutOfOffice.”
OutOfOffice.com is a tailor-made travel company specialising in tailor-made trips, with the added benefit of everything being LGBT friendly. Launched by former ITV News journalist Darren Burn, the company offers designs trips for individuals to places as diverse as the Galapagos, the Maldives, Mauritius, South Africa, Canada, Australia and many other destinations.
