Ramblers had a funny turn after a maze said to have ‘magical’ powers was opened on the British coast.
The 60ft-long intricate labyrinth has been created using an ancient Celtic design believed to have mythical links to the spirit world
A maze created using the same design has now been opened on the South West Coast Path at Looe, Cornwall.
The circular maze was cut six inches into the turf and was designed by writer Caroline Petherick.
Called the ”Mysterious Sevenfold Labyrinth” it was made on her land an looks directly out to sea.
She said: ”There is nothing quite like this anywhere that I have seen. People can perhaps walk in with a problem and come out with some answers.
”For some of us it feels like a link to our ancestors, for others the spirit world, and for yet others our inner selves.”
