A yob who battered a friend because he shaved off his PUBIC HAIR as a drunken prank has been spared prison.
James Patrick Hill, 24, flipped and attacked pal Matthew Dickinson leaving him with a broken jaw after he woke up and discovered his genitals had been shaved.
A court heard Hill and Mr Dickinson had gone out drinking on June 29 in their home town of Skegness, Lincs., with another friend.
The trio ended up at Mr Dickinson’s home and while Hill passed out in the sofa, he shaved off his pal’s pubic hair.
Skegness Magistrates Court heard Hill only realised what had happened when he went home and and had a shower.
He stormed round to confront Mr Dickinson and punched him in the face and pushed him down the stairs.
Prosecutor Nick Todd told the court: “Mr Dickinson and another man went on a drunken night out in Skegness and ended up at Mr Dickinson’s home.
“The third man left but at some time, in a drunken prank, Mr Dickinson shaved the pubic hair of Hill.
“Mr Hill went home amicably in the morning but after he got home he went out and found Mr Dickinson at Grand Central in Grand Parade and punched him in the face.”
Hill admitted assault and was slapped with a six month prison sentence suspended for two years.
He was also given a 12 month supervision order, ordered to carry out 150 hours unpaid work and told to pay #400 in compensation to Mr Dickinson.
Dave Clapham, defending, told the court: “Mr Hill passed out on the sofa, then woke up and left in the morning.
“When he got home, he got in the shower and then he realised what had happened.
“Whether or not there was consent at the time, there was an inability to consent, because of his drunken state.”
