Mega-rich pop guru Simon Cowell has topped a poll of celebs women have a secret crush on.
The X Factor judge, who bought a new Ferrari on Thursday to celebrate his 51st birthday, secured a third of the votes, beating Radio 1 jock Chris Moyles.
Life On Mars star Phil Glenister was third and chat show host Piers Morgan was fourth. In fifth place was Apprentice hardman Sir Alan Sugar.
Completing the top ten was Daybreak host Adrian Chiles, DJ Chris Evans, Mayor of London Boris Johnson, Celebrity MasterChef star Greg Wallace and EastEnders actor Adam Woodyatt.
The study, carried out by Fibre Plus among 3,000 women, also found six out of ten would prefer to date an older man than a younger one.
Fibre Plus spokesperson Sally Tribe said: ”It seems that British women just can’t get enough of Simon Cowell.
”It was strange not to see some real lookers like David Beckham and Johnny Depp but I guess we are not so ashamed of crushes on them.”
The survey of ‘surprisingly tasty’ celebs also found women are more likely to fancy an older, rich and powerful man than a playboy footballer or musician.
When asked about their real life love 72 per cent said they’d rather have a man with striking good looks and little money rather than a filthy rich man with little facial or physical appeal.
And 56 per cent said they found sense of humour the most attractive quality in the opposite sex and that imperfections made men sexier.
