See SWNS story SWCANTEEN; With countryside views and a chef who’s spent 20 years working in Michelin star restaurants, it is easy to think Fodder is the latest gastro restaurant. But it’s actually the world’s best STAFF CANTEEN and it’s so good they’ve now opened it to the public. Yeo Valley’s headquarters, which overlooks the Blagdon countryside in North Somerset, is home to hundreds of staff who get to eat gorgeous grub at a substantially subsidised price. Earlier this week staff could get salad of Wye Valley asparagus, soft poached quail egg, confit of tomato & deep fried polenta as a starter. They could then follow it up with a locally-sourced beef burger in a brioche bun with skinny fries.
