A woman has been left with hair extensions stuck to her head after buying a rogue beauty product off the internet.

Lauren Dewick, 25, says the dodgy adhesive is so bad even PLIERS have failed to remove the extensions.
Lauren bought and put in the extensions in February but has been trying in vain to remove them for nearly a week.
The mum-of-two said: “We’ve been trying to take them out all weekend, but the glue bonds that are left in are not softening at all – they are rock solid.
“You can’t even crush or bite them out.
“We’ve even tried using pure acetone to try to get them out and it burnt through my friend’s gloves because it was that strong, but they’re still not budging.
“I just want to cry because my hair is that important to me.”

Lauren said she has resorted to hiding her hair under a headband since the weekend and the experience of having the extension stuck to her head has knocked her confidence.
She added: “It’s awful, I’m just constantly thinking about my hair,” she said. “If I wore my hair down now it would look absolutely stupid because I’ve got half of it missing.”

Lauren, from Hull, East Yorks., issued a warning to anyone planning to buy “glued in” online.
She said: “Make sure that you know that you’re buying the glue and check what type it is, because you don’t know what it is that you’re sticking to your hair.
“Make sure you do your product research, read reviews and know exactly what product you’re buying.”
She said it was the first time she has used “glued in” extension but will not be buying them again.
She said: “If you care about your hair don’t do it the way I’ve done it because I regret it so much.
“Just make sure you get them professionally taken out.
“If you’ve got any doubts about getting glue-in extensions just stick to your gut instinct because it’s not for everyone.”
Lauren has now contacted a professional hairdresser in a bid to get the locks removed.
