Woman who ‘high-fived men after boozy threesome told police her ex-boyfriend had raped her’

A woman lied to police about being raped by her ex-boyfriend in a bid to cover up a boozy THREESOME she had with two older men, a court heard.

Lisa Yapp, 24, is said to have romped with the pair in the kitchen of one of their homes after seducing them in a pub by showing them naked pictures of herself.

After the steamy sex-session she even HIGH-FIVED the men as she left but later turned up on the doorstep of a pal claiming she had been raped, jurors were told.

A court heard Yapp ran to the friend’s house in tears saying she had been attacked by her former partner in an alleyway on August 1, 2011.

A major police investigation was launched into the claim after Yapp told cops her attacker “sounded and felt” like ex Gavin Hockey.

However, it later emerged that Mr Hockey had been 30 miles away at the time and was seen on CCTV on a night out with friends.

Yapp was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and on Wednesday went on trial at Worcester Crown Court.

Prosecutor Andrew Wilkins said: “Why she lied we might never know, it might be because she felt guilty.

“It might be that she was trying to pre-empt any effects of the sex she had had – pregnancy, or disease perhaps – by making these allegations sooner rather than later.

“It might be that she wanted to get back at her former boyfriend.

“We will never know.”

The court heard Yapp got chatting to pals Matthew Stevens and Terry Lippett  in the Goodrest Tavern, in Worcester, earlier that evening.

After the talk became “sexual” as she showed them naked pics of herself they returned to Mr Stevens’ home.

When they arrived he said Yapp had shown them more photographs in his kitchen before stripping off an telling them she had been involved in orgies in the past.

Mr Stevens told the trial he had sexual intercourse with Yapp over the kitchen work surface while Lippett “groped” her as the pair were having sex.

Giving evidence on Thursday Mr Stevens added: “I was a bit shocked.

“Afterwards I thought ‘that was a bit mad, I can’t believe what just happened’.

“I was a bit embarrassed to be honest.”

The court heard afterwards Yapp went to police to report she had been raped near her home in Ronkswood, Worcester.

In  a recorded police interview played to the court, she told officers: “I knew someone was walking behind me and I started walking a bit faster.

“I felt his fist hit the back of my head and he pushed my back down.

“He grabbed hold of my hair and with his other hand he pulled my trousers down.”

She added that she had screamed and tried to fight back as her attacker raped her before pinning her to the floor shouting “I told you I’d get you for it.”

Yapp also revealed she had previously made allegations of rape against him, which had been dropped, and believed the attack was revenge.

However an investigation revealed that Mr Hockey had been with friends on a night out in Hereford, jurors were told.

A medical examination of Yapp found no evidence that she had been attacked and CCTV from the pub and friend’s accounts showed she had left the pub with two older men in the OPPOSITE direction to the alleyway.

Yapp later claimed to police that she suffered from blackouts, but still maintained she had been raped.

She denies one count of perverting the course of justice.
