The Western Beach Race kicks off next weekend as off-road bikers from across the world scramble around a specially constructed track over sandbanks at speeds of up to 100mph.
More than 800 rider will be preparing their motocross bikes to take on the three-mile track in front of 30,000 fans at the beach in Western-Super-Mare, Somerset.
Spectators will be hoping for a jaw-dropping show after last year’s event which was cancelled following a massive pile-up that saw 21 riders injured.
Tickets for the event are still available with advance day passes costing from £10 for adults and £1.50 for children. Spectators turning up on the day will have to pay more.
