A group of glamourous grannies has become Britain’s oldest calendar girls by stripping off – despite having a combined age of 1036.
The women include sprightly Ann Basford who is now the oldest calendar girl in the world, aged 91.
The 14 women, aged 63 to 91, have 40 children, 64 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren between them.
The women, who all live in the Rose Gardens residential home in Hereford, posed in skimpy underwear with props protecting their modesty.
Ann, who posed wearing just a red towel for April, said she was ”thrilled” to be the world’s oldest calendar girl.
Great-grandmother-of-five Ann said: ”I feel like a celebrity. I only had a pair of pants on and nothing else for the shoot.
”My family thinks it’s hilarious – I’m just a big show-off.”
Ann, who lost her husband, Clifford, of 60 years in 2007, added: ”When the calendar idea was mentioned I could hear him saying ‘you show them pet.”
The calendar has been produced to raise money for the St Michael’s Hospice and Midlands Air Ambulance.
The woman beat the previous oldest calendar girls from Bolton, Greater Manchester, who had a combined age of 887.
