Virgin Atlantic campaign inspired by British Airways startup

The Virgin campaign, which encourages people to #GetOutOfOffice with a quirky video, is undoubtedly taking its inspiration from, the tailor-made travel company launched earlier this year after its founder and former ITV News journalist Darren Burn secured investment through a competition in British Airways’ Business Life magazine.

Commenting on the campaign, founder Darren Burn said: “It’s great that Virgin Atlantic and Richard Branson are getting their inspiration from us! We love that they are jumping on the bandwagon and getting behind our idea to spend as much time as possible Out Of Office.

“Here at we’re big believers in escaping and using all your annual leave and we’re experts at helping people set their OOO and #GetOutOfOffice on a new adventure.”

Virgin Atlantic has been creating incredible tailor-made travel experiences to get people away from their desk since its launch in January this year in which time it’s attracted unprecedented levels of business.

The company, which specialises in creating LGBT friendly travel experiences too, is the first to use imagery of gay and lesbian couples in equal measure to their straight counterparts.
