Wealthy romantics can surprise partners and cover their garden with more than one million rose petals this Valentine’s Day.
Floral company Petals and Roses will come round to the lucky recipient’s house with thousands of red roses.
They will then lay approximately 1.2 million rose petal around a garden up to 600 sq ft in size – transforming the area into a blanket of red.

But the romantic gesture comes at a price – with luxury website VeryFirstTo.com offering the exclusive experience – for a staggering £70,000.
Philip Davies, director of Petals and Roses, said: “This is the most ambitious and romantic project we have ever undertaken. Whoever gets this must be a very special woman.”
For the same price, the romantic could buy their loved one a brand-new Porsche and fly them first class to the Maldives for a romantic getaway.
Marcel Knobil, founder of VeryFirstTo.com, added: “On a day when thousands of similar romantic gestures are being delivered throughout the world, we wanted to offer the opportunity to do something truly outstanding.
“It is difficult to think of a more romantic and remarkable act than to arrange for one’s loved one to experience the stunning vision of a panorama of thousands of beautiful fresh red rose petals.
“This never done before and exceptional gesture will, I imagine, be taken up by an extremely gallant, visionary and passionate gentleman.”
