Freddie Starr was driven back to a police station by his fiancee on Friday – and avoided being snapped by photographers by hiding under a pile of her skimpy clothes.
In a bizarre twist, the 69-year-old comedian lay under a cream-coloured blanket and concealed the windows of his car by stuffing it with rail’s of fiancee Sophie Lea’s skirts and dresses.
Sophie, 34, who gave birth to Starr’s baby daughter earlier this year, was at the wheel of his £50,000 2011 silver Audi as it sped out the couple’s £900,000 mansion at 12.45pm.

A rail of designer outfits were stuffed in the back seat partially obscuring the back right passenger window.
Witnesses reported seeing a “large bulge” covered by a cream coloured blanket on the back seat – which now is believed to have been Starr.
Meanhile, police continued to guarde the gates of Starr’s homeafter he was released on bail following his arrest.
A 4×4 police vehicle blocked the entrance of his sprawling white-washed mansion in the picturesque Warwickshire village of Mappleborough Green near Studley.

Dozens of reporters, photographers and camera crews crowded outside the 69-year-old comic’s home after he returned in the early hours following a ten-hour grilling by detectives.
Two uniformed officers prevented anyone from accessing the intercom system on the main gate of the property yesterday morning.
Sophie – who recently gave birth to his sixth child – was spotted speeding away from the couple’s home at 7.30pm on Thursday before returning 15 minutes later.
A witness said: “She screeched out of the gravelled driveway and it looked like there might be some kids in the back seats.
“She returned home a few minutes later so maybe she was dropping the kids off somewhere because after that the cops were crawling all over the place.”

Two plain-clothes police officers could be seen on the driveway wearing blue forensic gloves and a man carrying camera equipment could be seen near the house.
Two uniformed officers stood guard outside the gates while forensic teams could be seen combing through boxes and bags of his possessions in his garage.
Several items, including what appeared to be dozens of DVDs, were seized and put into evidence bags before being loaded into a white police van.
Flashes of light could also be seen from behind the gates as officers took pictures of Starr’s possessions.
Starr’s arrest comes just two days after he had a bizarre meltdown where he rammed a reporter’s car before threatening to have him and a photographer “wiped out”.
