Tourist chiefs at one of the UK’s most popular tourist destinations were red-faced today — after it was named as a top spot for dogging.
Loch Lomond Shores boasts of being “a principal gateway to Scotland’s First National Park” and “Scotland’s most spectacular visitor destination”.
But the loch, near Glasgow, has also won the dubious accolade of being mentioned in a seedy online guide to dogging – the act of watching others having sex in cars.

On the site, swingingheaven.co.uk, members are invited to list their favourite places for the illicit activities.
It reads: “Loch Lomond Shores – car park at Lomond Shores at night has seen loads of action.”
A spokeswoman for the Lomond Shores centre said: “We have CCTV here and 24-hour security patrols.
“We don’t lock the car park. It’s an open site and people do come through but we have security on patrol at all times.
“We haven’t heard of this happening but I will bring it to the attention of the security patrols.”
A spokeswoman for Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park Authority declined to comment.
