The 23-year-olds had never imagined they would end up in opposite beds on a maternity ward together as the were due five days apart. The “one in a million” moment came when identical twin sisters had their babies hours apart. The 23-year-olds had never imagined they would end up in opposite beds on a maternity ward together. Tina Hammond, from Wigston, and her sister, Louise Huckerby, from Blaby, had been due to have their babies five days apart. Louise’s baby was due on April 10 and Tina’s on April 15.It all changed when Tina went into labour on Monday, March 21 – a little over three weeks early.
