A traffic warden’s lost notebook has revealed the catalogue of abuse received in just one morning – including being called an ”asshole” a “w*nker” and told to “go f*ck yourself”.
The lost pocket book was dropped by the parking official in the street and picked up by an eagle-eyed member of the public.
It details the “tons of abuse” the warden was subjected to by “grumpy” drivers during a four hour period – including having to flee a “seven-and-a-half-foot giant”.

The leather-bound book – a new one started that morning – reveals how the traffic official was called a “w*nker” and an “asshole”.
It even details how he was confronted by a driver he had previously ticketed who was a “grump then, as he is today”.
Union officials say the entries “proves the abuse and intimidation that they face on a daily basis”.
The book was found by a member of the public after he saw it fall out of the enforcement officer’s pocket as he drove off on a moped in Portslade, Brighton, on March 26.
One entry made at 9am read: “Van in road, asked driver how long he would be. He said: ‘What? You too fat to fit through?’ I said: ‘I wasn’t being funny’.
“He hurled a ton of abuse at me. He was seven-and-a-half foot. Took no van details as I just got the hell out of there.”
An entry at 11:06 read: “White retail van in a loading bay since 7.13am. Driver seen. Abuse. Said I was an unreasonable asshole. Told me to go fuck myself.
“Drove away and called me a wanker. Parked on zig zags on crossing. 11.07am – ticket issued.”

A later entry, at 11:49, read: “On return to moped a Black BMW driver taking down details.
“Ask what’s up. He said I had pulled out in front of him making him brake hard. I remember my man as I issued to his blue van a couple of weeks ago.
“He was a grump then, as he is today.”
The diary gives an insight into the daily life of one of Brighton’s 74 parking wardens.
It also contains mundane entries including issuing tickets to a vehicle left in a disabled bay without a badge and advising a lady who parked in a bus stop to appeal her fine.
But as well as the routine entries the diary – which starts at 7.30am and ends at 11.49am – contains a map to remind the officer where he should patrol.
Gary Palmer, of the GMB, which represents wardens, said: “We have previously raised concerns about how badly civil enforcement officers are treated on the street.
“This just goes to prove the abuse and intimidation that they face on a daily basis.”
The notebook was handed to local newspaper the Brighton Argus, which contacted parking contractor NSL and the informed the police.
NSL, which runs parking enforcement on behalf of Brighton and Hove City Council, said the notebook had been reported stolen.
Sussex Police were informed it has been found and it has since returned it to the company.
A police spokeswoman confirmed it received a report of a notebook being stolen at about 1.35pm on March 26.
A spokeswoman for NSL declined to comment.
The notebook was found just days after it emerged Brighton traffic warden Steven Jarvis was sacked after telling drivers he would help cancel their parking ticket – but only if they posed for a picture.

Oh BOO HOO nobody likes traffic wardens they deserve all they get , many businesses struggle to get custom to the over zealous nature of these idiots and they literally deter potential customers from small shops to the big supermarket names as at least the chance of getting a ticket is far less . If it was a traffic warden and paedophile hanging off a cliff edge and you could only save one who would it be ? The answer well obviously niether :).
