The Four Cornerstones of Organization Culture – Communication, Training, Development, and Feedback

Over the years we have seen a drastic shift that has changed the face of the traditional work culture that organisations have followed until now. The conventional notion started from the hiring of a person, which would take place with a face to face interview determining the persona of the candidate and then moving on with making the person meet with a specialist of the similar profile to assess a further confirmation.

However, in the current times hiring human resources is altogether different and efficient. It cuts down a number of costs and makes hiring easier. The digital push has even transformed the four cornerstones of the organisational culture which can be termed as Communication, Training, Development, and Feedback. Below is a detailed brief upon the changing analogy of these four cornerstones and how digitisation is transforming these processes.

Communication

Well, there was once a time when communication could have been limited because of the limitations of the technology, however internet has changed everything, it has given people a way not just to send and receive messages but to communicate efficiently and intuitively. Similarly, communication has not only elevated on a personal level, but it has undoubtedly overtaken corporates as well creating room for single platforms to be organisation specific. For example, Skype was invented to get video conferencing done and currently its primary use comes from organisations which use it for communicating via web conferencing, but also to use it as a communications platform for text and file sharing purposes. Several organisations also get their own internal communications tool developed to give a sense of uniqueness to their employees and clients which can also be considered as secure because all of the data is exchanged on their own servers.

Training

Training has evolved immensely, the whole process which was once based on traditional classroom setup has evolved massively. E-learning industry has opened many horizons for organisations to save a lot of human resources by creating e-learning training programs that would also cut a number of financial resources. By deploying an eLearning training program, organisations can give the employees the ability to learn from wherever they want to and grasp the knowledge until they finally get the hold of it. This will not only make learning useful but will also help employees to align their goals with that of the organisation’s. Organisations just need to conduct a survey to analyse the interests and specific skills of the employees to choose an employee training software to give them the ease to learn on the web.

Another industry that is proving to be profitable for many organisations is the LMS (Learning Management System) industry which just takes that burden from your shoulders and gives you a customised learning management system to make your employees learn, train and finally deliver in sync with the goals aligned by the organisation. It’s better first to research and find out more about the type of LMS software that you are looking for. Choosing an LMS software selection service can give an organisation the liberty to pick from an array of vendors that have already created LMS softwares for various organisations. A quick consultation can help you in meeting with the perfect creator who understands your psyche and the outcome that you are aiming to achieve from this program.

Why is LMS the key?

Outsourcing your e-learning requirements can be a confusing decision, but it can definitely save a lot of time and resources. Apart from stabilising the training process, integrating LMS into your training ecosystem lowers the use of stationary which in itself is a cost-effective trait. Apart from that, it can also be used to conduct assessments and declare results on the same platform which can also be beneficial for the whole organisation as it can also be transformed to conduct increment assessments, quiz contests, intuitive learning and much more. With e-learning, it is our vision that can change the way we communicate, train, learn and create and move towards a more productive and efficient future.
