Fiery chef Gordon Ramsay has met his match with his latest set of wheels – a Ferrari 458 Italia supercar which was recently recalled for bursting into flames.
The F-Word star was snapped leaving his exclusive Claridges restaurant at the wheel of the stunning white £200,000 car.
And it’s a match made in heaven with both the multi-millionaire chef and the Ferrari 458 Italia both having a reputation for fiery outbursts.
Earlier this month Ferrari announced it was recalling 1,200 of the supercars after it emerged they have a design fault which can cause them to burst into flames.
And Ramsay is well-known for losing his cool on screen, often unleashing an x-rated tirade against an unfortunate chef.
IT consultant Adrian Brittlebank captured the shots of the chef in Mayfair on Saturday afternoon.
The 22-year-old from London said: ”It was an unbelievable car, especially with the black roof.
”We were taking some shots of the car and then Gordon Ramsay appeared out of the blue!
”It was an added bonus hearing it howl through Mayfair as Gordon charged off in it.”
Ramsay is a well-known Ferrari aficionado having owned SIX of the Italian cars, with this model on loan from Ferrari.
With a 4.5-litre V8 engine developing a massive 570bhp, the Italian supercar accelerates from 0-62mph in 3.4 seconds and is capable of 202mph.
Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson regards the 458 as one of the all-time greats with famous owners including DJ Chris Evans and Eric Clapton.
