1955 Frazer Nash Le Mans Coupé. See SWNS story SWBRITISH; A stunning collection of British cars have been sold for a whopping £3.6 million. Retired businessman Gordon Willey spent years assembling a sought-after collection of desirable classic cars. This included an Aston Martin DB5, a 1938 Frazer-Nash BMW 328 Roadster and numerous Bentleys from the 1930s. Mr Willey, from Lancashire, decided to sell the fleet this month and two separate auctions hosted by Bonhhams. The top lot was a 1929 Bentley 4 1/2-Litre Tourer which sold for£667,900. All 12 cars were sold – netting the owner an impressive £3.6 million. Antony Bennett, regional director at Bonhams, said: “A chance telephone call to our Manchester-based offices lead us to this most incredible local collection.
