A Bentley Continental GTC previously owned by Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard is for sale on Auto Trader.
Gerrard was the first owner of the convertible grand tourer which he bought in 2008.
The England midfielder’s wife, Alex Curran, used the Bentley as her daily runaround while Gerrard would drive his Overfinch-tuned Range Rover.
And just like its former owner, the Bentley has a powerful engine – in this case a whopping 6-litre V12 engine which develops 560bhp.
This gives the GTC a 0-62mph time of 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 195mph – but also means you’ll only get an average of 17mpg out of the luxury British car and only 11mpg while dawdling through town.
Gerrard’s old Bentley – which has had one other owner – is being offered by Harrowgate dealer Auto VIP, who describe the car as an “immaculate example owned by an England and Liverpool legend”.
The interior is adorned in the finest leather and boasts dual zone climate control, six-CD autochanger and even a Breitling clock.
When Auto Express reviewed the GTC, they described it as “one of the best-engineered soft-tops we’ve ever driven” thanks to its “peerless refinement”.
New, it would have set back multi-millionaire Gerrard almost £140,000 but, two years later and with 12,000 miles on the clock, it’s yours for £95,990.
The Liverpool captain is renowned for buying British, having owned another Bentley Continental prior to his GTC.
He also has a love for Range Rovers – buying a new one every six month with his old Sport model also advertised on Auto Trader recently – selling immediately thanks to its famous former owner.
