Internet pranksters today set up a spoof ‘Just Giving‘ charity page to raise money – for wageless Radio One DJ Chris Moyles.
The breakfast show host caused a furore on Wednesday with a 20 minute tirade against his employers for failing to pay his wages for two months.
He told his six million listeners: ”I can’t tell you how furious I am. I haven’t been paid since the end of July and no one cares about it. No one’s bothered.”

The spoof charity website reads: ”I am hungry and haven’t been paid for ages. Please donate so I can eat. I need 20,000 calories a day just to maintain my weight so every penny counts.”
Twitter users also rounded on the 36-year-old star.
Gedrobinson tweeted: ”Chris Moyles hasnt been paid for two months? When did the BBC implement performance related pay?”
RichNeville added: ”The BBC have been broadcasting Chris Moyles and not paying him. I’d much rather this were the other way round.”
