A group of personal injury lawyers have published an infographicdetailing the symptoms, treatments and rehabilitation of spinal cord injury.
Using an easy-to-understand diagram of a spine, the infographic shows how an injury to each section of the spine affects the body. It also details patients’ treatment options, and provides a map of the locations of specialist spinal cord treatment centres in the UK.
Around 1,000 people in the UK suffer a spinal injury each year, and there are currently more than 40,000 people living with such an injury.
The infographic has been created by personal injury specialist Claim 500 to help people understand the causes and different types of serious spinal injury plus how they are treated, from types of therapy to state-of-the-art equipment.
