This is the shocking moment a woman on a mobility scooter was sent flying through the air – after she collided with a car.
Miraculously the woman in her 50s survived the smash and was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The video appears to show her rolling into the road on her scooter from behind a parked bus, with the bright lights shining out ahead.
But a car travelling towards the bus doesn’t spot her until it is too late – and smashes straight into the woman and her scooter before either has time to swerve.
Shocking CCTV of the crash captured from a nearby home shows the scooter and the woman fly through the air.
The shocked car driver can then be seen rushing out to help in Hornchurch, Essex.

Onlookers said the injured woman was left “screaming” in the road before an ambulance arrived. Police said no arrests were made.
One onlooker said: “She seems to have got off the bus and gone to cross the road on her scooter behind the bus, so the driver hasn’t seen her.
“It was horrible. We could hear the woman screaming.
“She was helped by lots of people, including the woman from the car involved.
“It was a woman who was driving the car and she had three or four passengers with her. It must have been a shock for everyone involved.
“The woman on the scooter was lying half under a van in the road.”
