A schoolgirl is hoping to become the world’s youngest radio DJ when she does her live rock show in front of hundreds of fans – aged just six.
Little Amber Jacobs, known as ‘DJ AJ’, plans to set a new Guinness World Record later this month.
Amber has been a music fan since she was just two when she ditched nursery rhymes and moshed to rock legends Metallica and Black Sabbath instead.
Now she hosts ‘The Sunday Morning Service’ on TBFM Online Radio Station every week from her bedroom in Throckmorton, Worcs.
The youngster, whose dad Steve, 48, also DJs on the station, runs the radio decks, selects songs to play and introduces them live on air.
She already has over 200 regular listeners on her weekly show and hopes to become a world record holder when she hosts her programme as part of a live charity event.
Proud mum Judi, 38, said: “Amber is a big music fan and from the age of two instead of listening to nursery rhymes she would rather put Kerrang on the TV and dance to the songs on there.

“Monday to a Friday she’s just a typical six-year-old girl playing dolls and going to school but then at weekends she becomes this rock chick.
“On the Sunday morning show she does everything such as queue the tracks, selects the songs and puts them on the software.
“We are very proud of her. This is something she has chose to do for herself and we have not pushed her into it in anyway.
“It would be brilliant if Amber was to break the record and we’ve all got our fingers crossed it will happen.
“But for us the most important thing is to see the passion she has for it and the huge smile it puts on her face.”
TBFM Online was first set up in 2009 and has since grown to attract thousands of listeners from all over the world with the aim of promoting new and unsigned bands.
It boasts it’s the original biker rock UK internet radio station dedicated to playing the best rock, punk and metal music.
Amber’s dad, Steve J, first got involved with the station in 2010 when he was promoting local Worcestershire bands.
When he became a DJ, Amber insisted on going along to help out – and the youngster never misses a live gig.
She has already met many unsigned bands and mainstream bands – including the likes of Dave Evans, formerly from AC/DC, and Dr and the Medics.
Amber recently attended the BMF Tailender Show in Peterborough where the little DJ introduced all the live bands on stage in front of thousands of screaming fans.
Sarah Boyce, Amber’s headteacher at Pinvin First School, added: “Everyone at the school is delighted for Amber and we are all wishing her the best of luck on the day.”
