RSL, the world’s leading awarding organisation for contemporary music and performing arts is pleased to announce that it now has qualifications in each of the Department for Education’s Performance Tables for 2018 (first teaching September 2016).
The updated Performance Tables published on Thursday 21st April feature 13 RSL Qualifications in total across Levels 1-3 in the categories of Technical Award, Technical Certificate and Tech Level.
From September 2016, RSL’s Creative and Performing Arts Qualifications will take their place alongside the established market leading Music Practitioners Qualifications as the first port of call for schools and colleges wishing to deliver industry relevant, practical qualifications that contribute to school achievement.
Covering Performing, Technology, Composition and Business, RSL’s Music Practitioners Qualifications offer over 150 units to choose from and focus on practical assessment.
RSL’s Creative and Performing Arts Qualifications are made for actors, dancers and musical theatre performers. Covering traditional disciplines and cutting edge industry practice they are the obvious choice for vocational training in performing arts.
“RSL prides itself on both industry relevance and academic rigour and we are delighted that the Department for Education concur that our qualifications offer both”
Patrick Healy – Head of Vocational Qualifications
