Budding Lewis Hamiltons will be rubbing their hands with joy after a company launched a series of replica sportscars – for kids.
Designed for children from six-years-old upwards, these miniature motors are based on some of the world’s most famous cars including the Jaguar E-Type, Porsche 356 and Mercedes 300 SL.
But unlike the £300,000 forked out for these classic cars, you can get your hands on one of the baby sports cars from just £3,000.
Power comes from a 50cc kart engine but if that’s a bit pedestrian then Vietnam-based Group Harrington – set up in 2002 by Brit Nathan Redfearn – says its cars are available with any racing kart engine you want.
All cars boasting disc brakes, electric start, reverse gear, lights and every child’s favourite feature – a horn.
Customers have an unlimited choice of colours for both the body and interior to choose from with leather seats also available.
And there’s also good news for adults – the pictures show grown-ups can comfortably drive the pocket-sized motors.
The company also offers the famous US military jeep and Bugatti Type 35 from the 1920s in half scale.
Since being publicised by US website Gizmodo last week, the company has been inundated with hundreds of enquiries across the globe and currently has a three-month waiting list for its micro machines.
