Three Brits have become the first people in the world to successfully dribble a football 19,000ft up Mount Kilimanjaro.
Dominic Durose, 31, Phillip Malley, 33 and Simon Baker, 32, all of Huntingdon, Cambs., took four days to kick, dribble and volley the ball up the huge mountain.
NHS administrator Dominic said he was not a keen footballer before the 69 mile feat, which started on March 14, and added the challenge was a difficult one.
He said: ”Reaching the summit was an intense team effort of concentration, determination and teamwork.”
The daring trio raised more than £10,000 for the Kick4Life appeal, which promotes HIV and AIDS awareness in Southern Africa through football.
