Prince Harry visited 30 cadets in Wales who are heading for an action packed exercise to Lesotho.
This year marks the 150th anniversary of the cadet movement and the exercise is designed to mark the occasion. As patron of the exercise Prince Harry said “The cadets will provide a huge contribution and it will be a wonderful opportunity for them.
“It is an environment they will never get used to and it will surprise them, but it will be one huge adventure”
Each of the cadets went through a tough selection process and represents the very best of the cadet movement.
While central funding has covered some of the expedition costs, each cadet has had to raise £1000 through their own efforts in order to take part. The expedition runs from the 24 July to 18 August.
