Prime Minister David Cameron and his pregnant wife Samantha enjoyed the sunshine yesterday during his summer holiday in Cornwall.
Mr Cameron, 43, and Samantha, 39, agreed to pose for a brief photoshoot overlooking Daymer Bay near Wadebridge.
The Prime Minister opted for a smart look with black polo shirt, dark jeans and lace-up shoes – a far cry from the garish floral shorts he was photographed wearing on a previous Cornish holiday two years ago.
Samantha opted for a simple full-length yellow dress to cover her growing bump and an olive cardigan.
The couple are spending a week at Daymer Bay with their children Nancy, six, and Arthur, four.
It is just a stone’s throw from Rock – dubbed ‘Knightsbridge-on-Sea’ as it regularly attracts privileged visitors, including Princes William and Harry.
The idyllic beach, popular for windsurfing and kitesurfing, is also just a few miles east of Constantine Bay, where Margaret Thatcher used to holiday regularly.
It is the second time in three years that the Camerons have holidayed in Cornwall.
In 2008 they stayed in nearby Harlyn Bay, where he rented the ”haunted” Fish Cellars Cottage, for a one week break.
Last summer the family spent 10 days in north-west France.
