David and Victoria Beckham were spotted buying their kids ice creams in the Cotswolds this weekend – fuelling rumours they are hunting for a new country retreat.

Locals were stunned when the former England football captain pulled up outside a newsagents in his Land Rover.
He happily posed for photographs behind the wheel in Nailsworth, Glos., while his wife nipped in for some ice lollies.
Posh apparently needed a hand finding the frozen treats and also posed for pictures – but only after she put on her oversized sunglasses.
David has been spotted in the Cotswolds a number of times in the last few years, fuelling rumours the family could be looked for a new rural home.

Make-up artist Kate Cornell, 36, spotted the pair, who posed for photos with her daughter Erin and friends Maisie Godfrey and Uma Seex, all 11.
She said: “The girls were very excited.
“I saw her get out of the car along with three of their children and another child.
“They were all there bar Brooklyn.
“She was asking the girl in the newsagents what ice creams they had.

“He was in a Land Rover Defender and he did not look very happy to be honest but I asked for a picture and he said ‘of course’.
“I asked him what he was doing in Nailsworth and he said he was just visiting friends.”
If the couple moved to the area they would join a long list of celebrities who have homes in Gloucestershire, including supermodel Kate Moss, singer Lily Allen and actress Liz Hurley.
